John Marone: POOR RELATIONS – THE UKRAINIAN GOVERNMENT GOES TO MOSCOW

The new government of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov headed straight for Moscow shortly thereafter with the sole intention of cutting a deal.

John, I think it is not so bad as you think. Ukraine have some advantages like freedom of speach. It can be very powerfull weapon in case of Yanukovich dirty hands ... Ukrainians can think by them selfs much better then Russians.

Good afternoon. well i do think that the author is right. all those words about warm relationships with Russia were only wasting of time and deception from the beginning, and the first person who deceived himself was Yanukovych. he believed him to be like Merlin who would swing with stick and get lower gasprice, but he does not ask himself why Russia should down prices at that time when it is going to build so-called North Stream. At the same time i think that after all Russia will achieve some agreement with Yanukovych and of course it will be done underhandly but untill then they will act out a show to let people think that negotiations are really hard but feallings of brotherhood won and then Yanukovych and his counterpart will discuss Black Sea fleet as brothers
