Роспуск правительства Юлии Тимошенко президентом Виктором Ющенко, отставки высших должностных лиц – госсекретаря Александра Зинченко, главы Совета национальной безопасности и обороны Петра Порошенко, вице-премьера Николая Томенко и др., многочисленные обвинения в коррупции и слухи о внутрикоалиционных разборках, разногласия по поводу нынешнего курса реформ, а также растущее недовольство населения темпами и глубиной экономических, политических и социальных преобразований – все это является неизменным спутником процесса перехода к демократии.
